On Monday 1st May the Warhammer Alliance will be hosting our first ever educators day as part of the Warhammer Fest show in Manchester. Warhammer Fest as a whole is set to be the biggest celebration of Warhammer ever with talks, tournaments, hobby activities, video games and more! You are invited to come and take part in the fun while also meeting other club leaders in dedicated meetup spaces to chat, share best practice and make new friends. WHAT’S ON FOR SCOUT LEADERS:

SEMINAR

Time and Location: 10:30am – 11:30am, Monday 1st May in the Auditorium

A group of our teachers, hosted by Jason, the Warhammer Alliance Manager, will be discussing the impacts of the Warhammer Hobby on young people’s development and learning; the future of the programme with an opportunity to ask questions at the event.

CLUB LEADERS PAINTING CHALLENGE

Time and Location: 15:00, Monday 1st May in the hang out and hobby area.

Come and try your hand in this 45 minute speed painting challenge. We will have prizes to give away for the winners of the challenge to help you grow your club. To book your place on this one go here.

WHAT’S ON FOR YOUNG PEOPLE AND HOBBYISTS:

SCOUTS MODEL MAKER BADGE ACTIVITY – 

Time and Location: 12:00 / 13:30, 1st May, Hang Out & Hobby

Come and complete your model maker activity badge session in the Hang Out and Hobby space. This session is suitable for whole Scout groups/Explorer Units, individual Scouts and Explorers are also welcome to attend. We are limited to 50 places per session. Please register your session attendance here . The session is included in the cost of your ticket for the event and all materials will be provided free of charge.

BATTLE HONOURS

Throughout the entire show there are opportunities to earn stamps in your Battle Honours booklet, just bring your booklet over to the Warhammer Alliance stand in the board game cafe and tell us what you’ve done, and we’ll stamp it for you.

Rewards for the programme will still need to be collected from your local store.
