Growing Roots
This is where we all start. To complete the Growing Roots E-learning you will need to log in to the membership system and navigate to the My Learning pages. Instructions on how to do this are here My learning | Scouts. Do make sure that your growing roots training is kept up to date. My learning will show you when you need to renew your training.
Branching Out
Branching Out learning is for when you want to stretch yourself and develop your skills and knowledge. More information can be found here Further learning opportunities: Branching Out | Scouts
Wood badge
If you want to consolidate and have your training recognised the Wood Badge is an international award that demonstrates commitment to learning and development with Scouts.
Completing the award is optional and you can choose to work towards it as part of any ongoing development. More information is here The future of the Wood Badge | Scouts. If you are interested in completing your wood badge, register on the membership system to complete it.

Skills training
Nights Away Permit Training:
To run nights away events you will need a nights away permit. You can attend our Module 38 to gain skills in scout camping and this is a great way to prepare for your Nights away permit or first camp.
Activity Training:
You can pursue activity accreditations in lots of adventurous activities, speak to your activities team leads for more information.
Join the County Training Team
We are currently looking for more people to join the County Training Team as well as the District training teams.
