Within scouting, we follow the rules and regulations set out by the UK Charities Commission as well as Scouts’ POR (Policy, Organisation and Rules) Document. In Greater London South West, the governance is managed by a group of volunteers called the County Trustee Board. In this group, there is the Chair, Treasurer, County Lead Volunteer, County Youth Lead along with other volunteers who are experts in various other aspects of running a charity. The board ensures that the County as a charity operates legally and safely.
Who sits on the County Trustee Board?
We have got a number of volunteers who sit on the Trustee Board. Each volunteer brings a different set of expertise to the board.
