We are delighted to announce details of our Duke of Edinburgh Award Scheme Programme for 2026/27.
We have a new DofE Admin Team in place to process Scheme registrations and to review and verify submissions from Young People completing awards and would like to thank Richard Goad for being willing to act as Team Leader, to welcome Bradley, Isabel, Lizzie and Arlette to the County Team and to thank Matthew Axeby for all they have done over the past 5 years to manage the DofE Scheme.
Our Gold qualifier in 2027 will be in North Wales following a training weekend in Dartmoor and practice expedition in North Yorkshire; our Silver qualifier will be in the South Downs following a practice in the Surrey Hills; and our Bronze qualifier will be in the Ashdown Forest following a practice in the Box Hill area. We would like to thank: Jon Parker for acting as overall Expedition Coordinator once again; Eva Crow for stepping up to lead our Silver Expedition; and Ian Tombleson for leading on our Gold Expedition once again.
