Greater London South West (GLSW) is the Scout body which oversees all Scouting activities in the London boroughs of Croydon, Richmond-upon-Thames, Royal Kingston, Sutton and Merton. Each borough forms its own District.
The mission of the County is to support all of the Districts in delivering brilliant scouting activities for all of the young people, making sure the adult volunteers are recognised and supported in their roles and creating a place to belong for all of the members of Scouts.
Within our county, we have got roughly 10,000 young people and volunteers. We offer sections ranging from Squirrels for 4 to 6 year olds to Network for 18 to 25 year olds.
Throughout the year, the Groups and Districts in South West London deliver exciting activities such as camps, international experiences, and local adventures such as hillwalking or time on the river Thames.
Bethesda
We are really fortunate to have a base in the village of Bethesda in North Wales which lets young people and adult volunteers take part in fantastic experiences out on the hills.
