We are actively seeking additional volunteers to join our County Team. You don’t have to have a background in Scouting or adventurous activities to make a difference, and we have flexible volunteering opportunities, including the following:
Volunteering Development Team Leader
We currently have a vacancy for the role of County Volunteering Development Team Leader, who will be a member of our County Leadership Team and lead and help develop the wider County Volunteering Development Team which covers sub-teams looking after Volunteer Engagement, Volunteer Inductions, First Aid Training, Scout Skills Training and Volunteer Recognition. We are particularly keen to hear from potential volunteers with a background in HR, training or personal development. 2-4 hours per week, remote with County Leadership team meetings held face to face every other month and County Volunteering Development Team meeting held at least once per term either face to face or online over MS Teams.
DofE Scheme Administrators
We offer the Duke of Edinburgh Award Scheme to our Explorer Scouts and Network Scouts across the County. This continues to go from strength to strength with the County DofE Team supporting over 100 Young People to complete their expeditions this year across all three levels of the Award. We are urgently looking to recruit volunteers to help administer the scheme by processing registrations and reviewing evidence submitted by Young People once they have finished working on their Award. 1-2 hours per week, remote with occasional team meetings over MS Teams.
Bethesda Bookings Administrator
We are looking for a Bookings Administrator to respond to queries about availability and take bookings, deposits and payments for our Hillwalking Base in Bethesda, North Wales. 1-2 hours per week, remote with occasional team meetings over MS Teams.
