After your wood-badge

Ongoing learning:
You’ll need to keep your Safety, Safeguarding and First Aid Training up to date every 3 years.
You may also like to attend some supplementary modules, webinars or skills events to further your skills

Nights Away Permit Training:
To run nights away events you will need a nights away permit. You can attend our Module 38 to gain skills in scout camping and you’ll need to speak to one of your district nights away assessors to complete the permit.

Activity Training:
You can pursue leadership permits in lots of adventurous activities, speak to your ADC activities for more information.

Join the County Training Team

We are currently looking for

County Training Manager x2: To manage and support training delivery and validation across the County

Training Advisers: To support learners in validating their wood-badge modules. We would particularly like to hear from potential TAs in every District.

Local Training Administrator – Kingston: to assist with record keeping for training in Kingston
