We would like to congratulate Tia Mulholland of 4th Tolworth Scouts in Royal Kingston District on achieving the prestigious King’s Scout Award, one of Scouts’ Top Awards for Young People. Our new County Lead Volunteer, Chris Wright, was delighted to visit the Troop this evening (4th December 2025) to present Tia with the award alongside District Lead Volunteer for Royal Kington, Jane Pringle, Group Lead Volunteer at 1st Hook Scout Group, Stuart Thompson, and other local leaders who had known Tia throughout her time in Scouts. Tia managed to complete all requirements for the award in just 18 months and had wise words for any Explorer Scout or Network Scout wishing to earn theirs which was “to start as early as possible”.
