First Aid Training

To complete or renew your first aid training, you will need to

Complete a course which includes a practical assessment.

If you are in Croydon, Sutton or Kingston districts you can book using the following link, the courses are free of charge for leaders in GLSW.

If you are a member of Wimbledon and Wandle or Richmond Districts please contact your Local Training Manager:

Wimbledon and Wandle: Alison Edwards: alison.edwards@local.gov.uk

Richmond: Nigel Waine: training@richmondscouts.org.uk

Please make sure you attend if you book or let the team know in advance if you are unable to attend as places are limited on these courses and we need to make sure we are making the most of these opportunities. Please do not book a place if first aid is not a requirement for your role. Occasional Helpers, Section Assistants and Executive Committee Members do not require first aid for their roles.

If you attend a first aid course organised by another provider and think it may cover the same requirements please let your local training manager know. Please note managers must not recommend leaders attend commercially run training courses while we are not providing face to face first aid training.

Details on the Scout Association First Aid Requirements and courses can be found here.
